BabyMap contests

Official rules · last updated: October 2026 · This is an English translation; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

This contest is not organised or sponsored by Apple, Google or Instagram/Meta.

Article 1 – Organiser

Amanda Hilali, publisher of the BabyMap app, in partnership with the association Jasmin & Sultan (French non-profit association, Nice), hereinafter "the Organiser", runs a free contest with no purchase necessary, with a prize draw, entitled "BabyMap Launch" (hereinafter "the Contest").

The Contest is held to celebrate the launch of the free BabyMap mobile app, which lists places and outings suited to families with young children.

Article 2 – Dates

The Contest runs from [start date] to [end date] at 11:59 pm (Paris time).

Entries received after this date will not be taken into account. The Organiser reserves the right to extend, shorten or cancel the Contest if circumstances so require, without incurring any liability.

Article 3 – Eligibility

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. The Contest is open to any adult individual residing in mainland France who has an Instagram account and an account on the free BabyMap app.

People involved in organising the Contest and members of the board of the association Jasmin & Sultan may not enter.

Only one entry per person is allowed (same name, same Instagram account, same BabyMap account). Entering implies full acceptance of these rules.

Article 4 – How to enter

To enter, each participant must, during the Contest period:

1. Download the BabyMap app and post at least 5 reviews of different places. There is no condition on the content or rating of the reviews: a positive, mixed or negative review counts the same.
2. Follow the Instagram account @babymap.app until the date of the draw.
3. Send a message through the "Contact us" section of the app, giving their Instagram username and their BabyMap username.

Reviews must be genuine and relate to places the participant has actually visited. The Organiser reserves the right to discard fake or copied reviews, as well as offensive reviews or reviews unrelated to the place: they do not count towards entry and may be removed from the app under its moderation rules.

In accordance with BabyMap's terms of use, please note that during the Contest, posting reviews may have allowed users to enter, with no condition on content or rating.

Any incomplete or fraudulent entry, or any entry that does not comply with these rules, will be considered void.

Article 5 – Prizes

The Contest offers 3 prizes, each consisting of one children's brunch and two adult brunches at Mama Shelter Nice, with a unit value of €106 incl. VAT.

Prizes are valid until 31 December 2026, booking required.

Prizes are personal and cannot be exchanged, refunded or converted into cash. In case of force majeure, the Organiser reserves the right to replace a prize with one of equivalent value.

Article 6 – Selection and notification of winners

A prize draw will take place on [draw date] among all valid entries to select 3 winners.

Winners will be contacted by private message on Instagram and/or by email. They will have 7 days to confirm acceptance of their prize. If they do not reply within this period, the prize will go to another participant drawn at random.

With their consent, the winners' Instagram usernames may be published on the @babymap.app account.

Article 7 – Apple, Google, Instagram and Meta

This contest is not organised or sponsored by Apple, Google or Instagram/Meta. These companies cannot be held liable for the Contest in any way. Information provided by participants is intended for the Organiser, not for Apple, Google, Instagram or Meta.

Article 8 – Personal data

The Instagram and BabyMap usernames provided by participants are used only to manage the Contest: checking entries, running the draw and awarding prizes. They are never made public without the participant's consent, never shared with third parties and never used for commercial purposes. They are kept until the prizes are awarded, then deleted.

Under the GDPR, each participant has the right to access, correct and delete their data by writing to babymap.contact@gmail.com.

Article 9 – Liability

The Organiser cannot be held liable for any malfunction of Instagram, the app or the internet preventing participation. The Organiser reserves the right to exclude any participant who has cheated or attempted to cheat (fake accounts, fake reviews, multiple entries).

Article 10 – Access to the rules

These rules can be consulted free of charge at any time from the BabyMap app, via the link in the contest banner, and on this page. They can also be requested by email at babymap.contact@gmail.com.

Article 11 – Disputes

These rules are governed by French law. Any claim must be sent in writing to the Organiser within one month after the end of the Contest. Failing an amicable agreement, disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Nice.
